7 Months!

Little Man is 7 months today!! Where in the world has the time gone. I know I say this all the time but seriously this has got to be the quickest 7 months of my entire life! He is getting so big and is such an amazing little boy. He loves almost all types of food so far. Mostly he eats stage 2 and 3 baby foods but we also give him table food when it can be cut into small enough pieces for him or doesn't contain to many spices. He loves cake and icing.

He can sit on his own now really well. Even to the point that he can catch himself if he starts to topple over. Although when he goes back he isn't always able to steady himself and has smacked his head pretty hard sometimes. He loves his walker but can't seem to make it move unless in the kitchen. The walker and carpet are not good combinations.

He's in a fairly good routine these days napping around the same time at least for a morning and afternoon nap. Usually around 8 and 3. He'll nap at least once inbetween there but those times seem varied. His 8 oclock nap is usually for an hour and his 3 oclock nap is an hour to two usually.

He goes to bed really easily usually. I still rock him to sleep most nights. I think more because mommy needs those last few moments together more than little man does. Most nights he amuses me and lets me rock him. Some nights though he wallers until I can't stand it any longer and lay him down to sleep. Those nights he whines for less than 5 minutes and he's out like a light. Once he's down for the night he usually is alseep until 6 or 6:30 waking once sometime between 4 and 5 for his paci. I can walk right in put his paci in and 99% of the time he goes right to sleep.

He drinks about 20 oz of milk a day and about 9 oz of solid foods a day.

I haven't wieghted him lately but I assume he's about the same as he was on his 6 month check up. He is still wearing 3-6 month clothing for the most part. I've had to move him to 6-9 month sleepers because he's so long.

Hoping by next weekend I can get his 7 month photos done. Lately it's been about 2 weeks in that I'm getting his monthly photos taken.

Family Visit

My Family from NC came to visit over the weekend last weekend. It's the first time my brother and his family got to meet Wesley (and the first time we got to meet Zoey) and the second time my mom and dad and little brother and sister got to see Wesley.

Wesley absolutely adored everyone and loved all the chaos. He had so much to look at and so many little ones to play with. We had a cook out at my Uncle Wes' and Aunt Sherri's house, along with having people over at our house most of the weekend. It was so much fun and I can't wait to see everyone again!!
